Privacy notice.

Who is responsible

SignalGate is operated by Ben Harwood, who is the data controller responsible for personal information collected through the provider-pilot application and related communications.

Information collected

We collect the information you submit, including your name, business email, optional Telegram username or channel, provider or brand name, service model, active-member band, estimated MT5 audience, application note and any optional email-marketing choice. Limited request and security records are processed to protect the form and review suspected duplicate, abusive or fraudulent submissions.

Why it is used

Application information is used to assess product, technical, audience, commercial and operational fit; respond to the steps you ask us to take before a possible provider relationship; and contact you about a pilot. If you actively consent, we use your email address for occasional SignalGate provider news and partnership updates until you unsubscribe. Security records are used to operate a safe and reliable application service.

Lawful bases

We rely on steps taken at your request before entering a possible contract to assess and respond to your application. We rely on our legitimate interests to operate and secure the application service, prevent misuse, keep proportionate business records and resolve disputes, after considering the effect on your rights. Optional marketing email is based on consent. If a partnership proceeds, additional processing may be needed to perform the provider agreement or comply with legal obligations.

Previous waitlist and referral records

SignalGate previously collected retail waitlist applications and developed a disabled referral-data foundation. Those programmes are not offered through the current provider page. Existing records remain covered by the privacy wording and choices in force when they were collected and may be retained only for the applicable consent, security, accounting, dispute or legal period. We do not use dormant referral records to imply current participation or entitlement.

Who receives it

OpenAI Sites, Cloudflare and other hosting, security, email-delivery and communication providers may process information only as needed to host, secure and operate the application service and contact applicants. We do not sell application information. Providers may process data outside the United Kingdom; where UK data-protection law requires a transfer safeguard, we require an appropriate safeguard.

Retention

Provider-pilot application data is normally retained for up to 12 months after it is received, then deleted or anonymised unless a limited consent, transaction, dispute, legal or security record must be retained for longer. If a provider relationship proceeds, relevant commercial, support, payment, tax and audit records may be retained for the relationship and the period reasonably required afterwards.

Your choices and rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction, or object to certain uses. Optional marketing consent can be withdrawn at any time using the unsubscribe link in each marketing email or by contacting us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
